The River Styxx

What could be described as missing the boat may be to some just trying to keep from slipping into the inevitable chaos of world conflict. Great nation states are enmeshed economically enough that no one wants to rock the boat. But there seems to be a new alignment in loyalties going on and it is aiming to isolate the West. Most oddly, it is disgruntled Western intellectuals that seem to be breaking the ranks with their own neighbors and facilitating this new world that will be at odds, and in effect, at war with the United States. When we finally do get on the boat, the chance to put out the blaze will be past and, I’m afraid, the uncontrollable conflagration will follow.
